Celebrity Pregnancies: A National Obsession
Steve’s Word, we produced this sketch about how the current national obsession with Celebrity Pregnancies affects the youth. Shot on location in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. Other than the challenge of getting adult women to look like pregnant tweens and the freezing weather, our biggest production hurdle was the audio. Shooting without permission next to a playground on a Sunday was no easy task. My god; leaf blowers, screaming kids, barking dogs, buses and traffic on the street, etc. It’s not like you can ask a Park Slope parent gossiping about the latest post-natal yoga studio while she pushes her squealing child in a swing to be quiet.
